FORT LEE, N.J. (PIX11) --- A student was stabbed in Fort Lee High School in New Jersey Tuesday, officials said.
The boy was stabbed multiple times in the building on 3000 Lemoine Ave. just before 11 a.m., according to the Fort Lee Police Department.
The victim was rushed to the hospital in critical condition but is expected to recover from his injuries, officials said.
The suspect, another student, was apprehended at the scene, police said.
The school currently under a lockdown while authorities investigate the scene.
A decision has not yet made about dismissal times, according to school officials. The roads surrounding Fort Lee High School are closed.
"Please do not report to the school," a school message to parents said.
