has disclosed that his teammate
Kuldeep Yadav
refuses to bowl to him during practice sessions.
"He won't bowl to me, I have tried a few times to go face him but he won't bowl to me," said Tristan Stubbs to The Grade Cricketer podcast.
Stubbs, a young South African player, has made a significant impact during the
2024 IPL season
, contributing to Delhi Capitals' recent surge towards the top four.
In the 12 matches he has played, the middle-order batsman has accumulated 318 runs at an impressive average of 53 and a remarkable strike rate of 188.17.
During the podcast, Stubbs was questioned about facing Kuldeep Yadav's signature wrong-un delivery. He emphasized that despite his repeated efforts, India's prominent left-arm spinner adamantly declines to bowl to him.
"I think he's trying to keep it a mystery, so I can't tell you I have tried to face him but he's not having it, " he said.

When asked if his desire to face Kuldeep was driven by the possibility of an India vs South Africa encounter in the knockout stages of the T20 World Cup, the 23-year-old responded, "I think it's quietly not been said but I think so yeah."
