NEW YORK (PIX11) -- The United Nations General Assembly is underway with some of its biggest meetings set for early next week.
Hundreds of dignitaries will gather for “high-level week” at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City, starting from Sept. 22.
Among the high-level events include the Summit of the Future from Sept. 22 to the 23, the Sustainable Development Goals Moment on Sept. 24th, and the General Debate from Sept. 24 to the 30.
In anticipation for the volume traffic expected around the UN Headquarters, police will close multiple streets to the public.
