Ready to head into the upside-down one last time?
The first look at the fifth and final season of the sci-fi adventure series 'Stranger Things’ is here and it is taking fans behind the scenes to get a peek at all the action set to unfold.
In a 1.54-minute video, the makers show footage from the Atlanta-based sets where Season 5 has been filming for most of 2024.

While the video avoids revealing much about the Season 5 storyline, it includes some intriguing, blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moments.
The clip features a shot of the lead stars - Mike (

Finn Wolfhard

), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), and Will (Noah Schnapp)—crowded around a radio.

Another shot shows the group joined by Joyce (Winona Ryder), Nancy (Natalia Dyer), Jonathan (Charlie Heaton), and Steve (Joe Keery) gathered around an overhead projector.
Considering that these characters were separated for most of Season 4, the new footage hints at one big reunion. The series will also feature new actors Nell Fisher,

Alex Breaux

, and Jake Connelly in the cast.
In the clip,

Millie Bobby Brown

who plays the role of Eleven, says, “I started when I was 10, I’m now turning 20 years old. Feels very weird.”

Noah Schnapp, who has been courting controversy for his remarks amidst the Israel and Palestine conflict, is also confirmed to be part of the show, despite protests. In the video, he teases, "It’s just so exciting, I think this is going to be the best season yet."
Several other shots feature glimpses of the Upside Down and a crew member applying goo to red tendrils.

Jamie Campbell Bower

, who plays the villain Vecna, says that while “Season 4 was big,” “Season 5 definitely feels bigger.” Linda Hamilton, the newest 1980s cinema icon to join the cast, briefly appears and says, “I love this show so much — I really am a fan.”
Netflix has not announced the debut date for Season 5 yet, but it's anticipated to premiere sometime in 2025.
