NEW YORK (PIX11) -- With the holiday season in full swing, the NYPD is reminding residents to exercise caution when making purchases online, especially through Craigslist, eBay, and Facebook Marketplace.

To help keep buyers and sellers safe, police are encouraging people to exchange goods within the "NYPD E-Commerce Exchange Zone."
