NEW DELHI: Skipper
Suryakumar Yadav
's belligerent fourth hundred was followed by a magical spell from
Kuldeep Yadav
as India hammered South Africa by 106 runs in Durban on Thursday to wrap-up the T20I leg of the tour level at 1-1.
After the first T20I got washed out in Durban and South Africa winning another rain-marred second game by 5 wickets, India came back with vengeance in the final encounter, blowing away the hosts in Johannesburg.
Swashbuckling Surya led the way with a masterful ton as India raked up 201 for 7 after being put into bat. Left-arm spinner Kuldeep then registered his T20I career-best figures of 5 for 17 as the Proteas folded for a lowly 95 inside 14 overs.
The emphatic victory helped India register their biggest ever win in SENA (South Africa, England, New Zealand & Australia) countries -- in terms of runs.
