Staring stranger repeatedly stabs man on NYC subway: Sources

BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) – A 25-year-old was stabbed multiple times on a Bronx subway after he caught the suspected attacker staring at him, police sources told PIX11 News.  

The 25-year-old was stabbed on a northbound No. 5 train near the Grand Concourse station around 11 a.m. Sunday, police said.

The young man felt someone looking at him from across the train and asked why he was staring – then, the stranger allegedly stabbed him multiple times, police sources told PIX11 News. 

He was taken to an area hospital in stable condition. The suspected stabber fled, and police have not made any arrests Monday morning, according to the NYPD.

A 17-old boy was stabbed on a Brooklyn subway Sunday night after he was jumped by four men, sources told PIX11 News. The attack happened around 10:20 p.m. on a No. 3 train near Utica Avenue, police said.
