NEW DELHI: Sunrisers Hyderabad unleashed a barrage of power-hitting to shatter records and leave fans in awe during their Indian Premier League clash against Mumbai Indians at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
Led by the explosive performances of

Abhishek Sharma
(63 off 23), and
Travis Head
(62 off 24), SRH amassed a staggering total of 277/3 in their allotted 20 overs.
This incredible feat saw them break the 11-year-old record for the highest-ever team total in an IPL innings, previously held by Royal Challengers Bengaluru - 263/5 in 20 overs against now-defunct Pune Warriors India in 2013.

Aiden Markram also made a significant contribution to the SRH onslaught with a well-compiled 42 off 28 balls.
Moreover, SRH set a new record for the highest total at the midway stage of an IPL innings, amassing 148/2 after 10 overs.
The Hyderabad crowd witnessed a spectacle of record-breaking performances as Abhishek Sharma also stole the spotlight with his sensational innings.

Following an explosive start by SRH opener Travis Head, who blazed his way to a record-setting 18-ball fifty, Sharma continued the onslaught, reaching his fifty in just 16 balls—a new benchmark for the fastest fifty by an SRH batter in the tournament.
Sharma's onslaught was relentless as he hammered seven towering sixes and three fours during his whirlwind knock of 63 runs off just 23 balls.
The sheer ferocity of SRH's batting display left spectators in awe and established Hyderabad's dominance in the IPL arena.
