BLOOMFIELD, N.J. (PIX11) – A New Jersey ice cream parlor's booth that was used in the final scene of the iconic TV series “The Sopranos” has sold for more than $82,000.
Holsten's in Bloomfield auctioned off the booth on eBay. The online auction ended Monday, with the winning bid going for $82,600.
Holsten’s is where the final scene of the "The Sopranos" series finale was filmed.
“This is your once in a lifetime chance to own the ORIGINAL booth that the Soprano Family sat in for the final scene of the famous show!” the eBay listing said. “The booth includes both seats, table, and divider wall with the plaque 'Reserved for the Sopranos Family.’”
The owners of Holsten’s said they didn’t want to get rid of the booth, but it became structurally compromised over the years.
“They have been repaired many times and this furniture is over 60 years old. Obviously, we do not want to do this, however, it has come to a point where they are structurally not safe anymore as a whole and we need to think about the safety of our patrons first,” the owners of Holsten’s shared on social media.
The eBay listing received 238 bids from 49 bidders. The winning bidder will need to pay within four calendar days, according to eBay's website.
