Productions has been selected to for the 74th
Berlin International Film Festival
in the World Cinema section. The film is said to capture the journey of the two characters played by Anna Ben and Soori. It is a film about human emotions, an intense drama.
Sharing the happy news, Sivakarthikeyan in his letter wrote, "We are delighted to announce that our next production venture at Sivakarthikeyan Productions, 'Kottukkaali' has been selected for the 74th Berlin International Film Festival in the World Cinema section."

The film is produced by actor Sivakarthikeyan’s Sivakarthikeyan Productions in association with The Little Wave Productions. The technical team includes B Sakthivel handling cinematography, Ganesh Siva handling editing, and Suren G and S Alagia Koothan handling sound design.
