Previously, Luv Sinha had informed the Hindustan Times that he needed a day or two to consider how he would respond to inquiries about his reported absence from his sister's wedding.

Today, July 2, Luv addressed the ongoing issue and clarified his stance on not attending the wedding. However, he later emphasized that the quote mentioned earlier was not attributed to him.

He wrote, "The reasons for my absence are clear, and I choose not to associate with certain individuals, regardless of circumstances. I appreciate the media's diligence in researching instead of relying on fabricated stories circulated by PR teams."
Earlier, in another tweet, he pointed out that news stories selectively highlighted his family business. He mentioned the absence of any reference to the groom's father's ties to a politician, whose ED inquiries had reportedly concluded quietly. Furthermore, there was no mention of the groom's father's past in Dubai.
