Sonakshi Sinha reveals the reason why she married Zaheer Iqbal: 'I leave all my work stress behind and come back to him'

on June 23, credited her husband for her success in personal and professional life. She also talked about the drawbacks of being a public personality. Sonakshi has had a very exciting 2024 thanks to the success of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Heeramandi' and 'Kakuda'.
During a conversation with IndiaToday.in, Sonakshi shared that her husband Zaheer Iqbal is the biggest

support system

in her life.

She said, “It’s a given that Zaheer adds a lot of value to my life. That’s the reason why I even married him. Zaheer is someone who has been a very big support system in my life through my highs and my lows. He’s the major reason why I’m able to thrive at work because when I go back home, I’m also happy there and that reflects in the work I do. I’d say that everybody deserves a love like Zaheer’s in their life that builds them up and helps them grow. He’s the reason why I’m thriving in life. I believe that I am constantly growing and evolving both personally and professionally.”
Sonakshi also added that her partnership with Zaheer is built in a way where they both support each other in growing and leading a happy life. The actress stated that she is someone who truly believes that one should never bring their work back home. She shared, “I leave all my work stress behind and come back to Zaheer, where I’m fully present and detached from my work. Being an actor is my job, but it’s not my entire life, and I’d like to keep it that way. I believe in striking that personal and

work-life balance

The actress also discussed the constant scrutiny that comes with being a public figure. Sonakshi shared that she does not consider this to be a sacrifice as actors signed up for it and called it a necessary aspect of pursuing a career as an actor. It is understood that giving up one's privacy is a part of the job that one must accept when entering the field.

She further added, "It’s a bit intrusive, but I understand because these are the people who like you and want to know everything about you, but I’m generally a very low-key person. I feel constantly being in the public eye is like a sacrifice.”
On the work front, Sonakshi was recently seen in the horror drama film ‘Kakuda’ which also starred Ritesh Deshmukh and Saqib Saleem. She is yet to announce her next project.
