NEW YORK (PIX11) -- The solar eclipse taking place in April is scheduled to happen at the same time as a New York Yankees game.

The Yankees are set to play the Miami Marlins on April 8, the same day as the solar eclipse. Fans in attendance should be able to view it partially.

The first pitch is set for 2:05 p.m. The ideal viewing time for the eclipse is an hour later at roughly 3:15 p.m., according to NASA.

Tickets for the game are still available

This will be the last solar eclipse in the United States for two decades.
