Sleeping passenger robbed on No. 7 train in Queens: NYPD

QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) -- A passenger riding a northbound 7 train was robbed on Sunday morning in Queens, according to the NYPD.

The victim had fallen asleep and was unaware of the robbery, police said.

As the subway arrived at the 61st Street and Roosevelt Avenue station, the victim woke up and noticed both of his pockets were cut open, police said. The victim's wallet was missing.

Police say an unidentified male approached the victim on the train and took his property. Police released the following image of the suspect.
