achieved a remarkable milestone, surpassing the legendary

Sachin Tendulkar

and equalling former franchise skipper

Rohit Sharma

in the number of centuries scored for the five-time Indian Premier League (IPL) champions.
Suryakumar accomplished this feat against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in their IPL clash at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium on Tuesday.

In a crucial moment for MI, Suryakumar stepped up when his team was in a tense position at 31/3 while chasing a target of 174 runs. Displaying remarkable composure and skill, he initiated a formidable counter-attack, unleashing a stunning innings of 102* runs off just 51 balls. His innings was characterized by an aggressive approach, comprising 12 fours and six sixes, at a remarkable strike rate of 200.00.
Both Rohit and Suryakumar have two IPL centuries each for MI. Tendulkar, Sanath Jayasuriya, Lendl Simmons and Cameron Green have a century each for MI.
