Skeletal remains found at Long Island construction site: Police

WOODBURY, N.Y. (PIX11) – Skeletal remains were found at a construction site in Woodbury Monday afternoon, according to the Nassau County Police Department. 

Officers dug into the ground on Fairhaven Boulevard near Pond Road around 4 p.m. Monday and found the skeletal remains buried, police said.

Police removed the remains and brought them to the Medical Examiner for examination, according to the department.

Detectives request anyone with information regarding the above listed incident to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS or call 911. All callers will remain anonymous.
