Six students go missing in Konaseema district over school pressure, Police launch investigation

RAJAHMUNDRY: As their parent pressured them to go to school, six students have left their homes in Konaseema district. The students aged between 12 and 14 belong to Kandrigapeta, Ramachnadra Puram and Kothuru villages in Konaseema district reportedly left their homes on the 24th of this month.

inquired about the missing and directed Konaseema SP B Krishna Rao to investigate into the matter thoroughly. The SP has formed six teams have been formed to trace the missing students. Six students, including two girls, were missing from 24th of this month. The parents lodged a complaint on Friday. The police have searched for the missing children using CCTV footage in bus shelters and railway stations.
The students were wandering in P Gannavaram and Ravula Palem.
They left their homes with Rs 3,000 and the only reason they have left their homes as their parents insisted that they go to school. They even bought kitchen vessels and cooking utensils for their own on these days. The police have found the children on the banks of Godavari cooking food when they were cooking. The police have handed over the children to their parents.
