,' and the official trailer for the third season of this OTT crime thriller is out for viewing today (June 20). Shweta portrays the character

Gajgamini Gupta

, aka

Golu

, in the series, and she recently discussed pay parity in the industry.

She further added that earlier in her career, she didn't mind the size of the

vanity van

she was given and was fine with adjusting. However, she later realized that if she accepted a smaller

vanity

van compared to her male co-actors, it would set a precedent for others. The actress is concerned that people might tell other female actresses that she used to adjust, so they should too. Shweta believes this would set a bad example, and she didn't want that. That's why she started asking for bigger spaces.

She also admitted that she has begun addressing these important issues in her own way. She realized that if she didn't speak up, others might not even know that these issues were bothering her.
Shweta concluded that she has started speaking up for herself, irrespective of whether people like it or not. This, in turn, helps other stars ask for what they deserve.
'Mirzapur 3' will start streaming on July 5.
