The Shillong Teer Lottery game is a unique game played in Meghalaya, where winners are announced based on the number of arrows shot. The lucky numbers for the first and second rounds of the game played on July 05 can be checked on the official website meghalayateer.com.

The results for the first and second rounds are announced at around 4 pm and 5 pm every day, from Monday to Saturday. On Sundays, people in Shillong and other towns of Meghalaya visit churches for prayer.

The game is governed by rules framed under the Meghalaya Amusement and Betting Tax Act and is legal, unlike most lottery games in India. The Khasi Hills Archery Sports Association, which comprises 12 archery clubs, is responsible for organising the tournament.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THE SHILLONG TEER LOTTERY GAME:

To participate in the Shillong Teer lottery game, interested individuals can purchase tickets for prices ranging from Rs 1 to Rs 100. Ticket sales begin at 10 am every day from Monday to Saturday. In this game, the number of arrows shot in the first and second rounds determines the winner, and correctly guessing this number can result in prize money.

A total of 50 archers participate in the game, each shooting a maximum of 30 arrows in the first round and 20 arrows in the second round. The archers have two minutes to complete each round of shooting, and the game is held at the Polo Ground in Shillong.

There are over 5,000 Shillong Teer ticket booking counters spread across 11 districts of Meghalaya, providing easy access for interested participants.
