The latest episode of Shark Tank India had three exciting companies share their business ideas and pitch in to raise funds for their companies. One of the pitchers was cleaning essentials brand founder Simran, who introduced the sharks to her brand. Simran expressed how she found her interest in the product during the pandemic. She further explained that the cleaning products in our houses have a lot of toxins in them and hence she introduced her products in the market.
At first Aman Gupta, Vinita Singh, Piyush Bansal and others were unsure about investing in the brand and asked several questions from Simran. While, Aman was curious about the natural cleaning essential brand, Vineeta expressed how she felt that the brand products would be pricy. However, Simran explained that her prices are very reasonable and that is also one of the differentiators for them. The pitcher then demanded 70 lakhs for 1% of the equity in the company.
After a brief discussion about the brand, Vineeta showed her interest in Simran’s brand and said that she is willing to invent in it. She offered 70 lakhs for 2% equity in her company. However, Anupam then told Simran that he wants to raise the value of her company and offered 70 lakhs for 1.66% of Equity in the company. Commenting on the same, Vineeta said, “Ittni badi badi baate karke sirf 3 crores overall badhaya aapne.”
Later, Anupam asked Simran if she is biased towards any of the shocks. Simran couldn’t resist but express her interest in doing the deal with Aman Gupta. Aman then partnered up with Vineeta and offered 70 lakhs for 1% equity in the company.
Simran, who found her dream deal with her favourite sharks couldn’t resist but finalise the deal without hearing Peyush Bansal and Ritesh Agarwal’s offer. Peyush then expressed his disappointment in the same and asked her if she isn’t even willing to hear his offer. Simran apologised and said, “Sorry mujhe aapka bhi sunna hai.”
However, by the time Aman and Vineeta had already signed the deal and Simran later accepted it. Aman then said, “Inka Aman ki asha thi.”
As Simran left, all the five shark, praised Simran for being a solo founder and handling the company perfectly. Vineeta even called her ‘one of the best pitchers in Shark Tank India.’
