on the Sharks panel. The second most interesting and innovative pitch of the day was on the Sunglasses brand made out of chips packet's multi-layered plastic. The company makes recycled sunglasses out of the chips packets.
Anish Malpani
's ask is Rs 75 Lakhs for 1% equity on the valuation of Rs 75 crores.
Anupam Mittal asks Anish what made him move towards eradicating an environmental issue with his company. Anish shared his story, "I was born in India and for the first 9 years I lived in Aurangabad. Then my father got a job in Dubai so I grew up there. Then I studied in Texas and then I was making very good money in New York. Everything was there but something was missing so I chose to come back to India and I spent 3 years learning how to make an impact. In 2019, I came to India and started working on this and chose to work in MLP." Anupam replies, "Why do I feel that I am seeing

Ronnie Screwvala says, "At the time when we released it, it was called before its time and now I think its time has come." Ronnie then asked Anish why he made sunglasses as a sellable product. Anish then explained his product which did impress the sharks. They also compliment Anish for the quality of his product. However, after further grilling and understanding the business model Anish got two offers.

The first offer was made by Aman Gupta which is Rs 30 Lakhs for 1% and Rs 45 Lakhs debt at 10% interest for 2 years. While Anupam and Radhika chose to opt out of the deal. Ronnie then came up with another offer, Rs 75 Lakhs for 3% at Rs 25 cr valuation. Peyush chose to tag along with Ronnie and they came with the same evaluation as a combined offer. Anish takes Ronnie and Peyush's deal.
