Serial burglar stole cash, jewelry from 9 homes in Queens: NYPD

QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) --- A burglar stole thousands in cash and jewelry from nine homes in Queens, starting last summer, police said Wednesday.

The suspect broke into the first borough home in August 2023 and took $6,000 worth of jewelry and property from the residence near 26th Street and 41st Avenue, according to the NYPD.

The man also stole $9,000 in cash and another $1,800 in property from a home on 43rd Avenue on Feb. 28, police said. The thief also broke through a window of a house at 53rd Street and Skillman Avenue and took $6,500 worth of jewelry on March 5, the latest incident reported, police said.

In one of the break-ins, the suspect was dressed in an Amazon delivery vest, according to the NYPD.

There have been no arrests.

There were no injuries.
