NEW YORK (PIX11) – Mary may have had a little lamb, but the Central Park Zoo added two to its flock this past winter.

Bobbin and Sage, two Harlequin sheep, joined a flock of eight at the Tisch Children’s Zoo within the Central Park Zoo, the Wildlife Conservation Society said Friday. You can see the two fluffy lambs running and jumping in a video provided by the zoo. They even bump heads with each other for a few seconds.

Bobbin is 7 weeks old, and Sage is 3 weeks old. The latest additions to the Central Park Zoo can be found in the children’s zoo section, which is also home to sheep, ducks, goats, and zebu.

Harlequin sheep have been developed in Virginia for about 40 years and produce eight different breeds. They are known for the variety of colors in their coats and their fine wool, according to the Conservation Society.

Young visitors can meet Bobbin and Sage and even feed the other animals in the Tisch Children’s Zoo, year-round.
