JAMAICA, Queens (PIX11) – A large brawl led to a 12-year-old girl being shot in Queens on Wednesday, according to the NYPD.
The shooting happened in front of 160-22 160th St. just before 8 p.m. At least six to 10 people were involved in the fight, which led to numerous shots being fired and stab wounds, according to authorities.
In addition to the 12-year-old girl being shot in her left arm, an 18-year-old woman was taken to a local hospital with a head injury and a 26-year-old woman was stabbed in the chest, police said.
All of the victims are expected to survive. No weapons have been recovered at the scene, according to authorities.
Neighbors told PIX11 News they heard a commotion and knew to stay indoors.
"I heard the people screaming and yelling and running upstairs," one neighbor said. "I'm in the building so I heard them running upstairs."
Police describe the suspect as last seen wearing a black hoodie, black clothing and black mask. They took off in a black Hyundai.
