Invitations have been sent out, and all eyes are on what Samsung is preparing to unveil this time, especially since the company has already teased its Samsung AI logo in the Unpacked invitation.

In its invitation, the South Korean Giant has made it clear that this time it will be unveiling its new Galaxy S series device, possibly the Galaxy S24 lineup with the power of AI. However, not much information has been released by the company around the specifications. But as the launch date approaches, many speculations and rumours about the possible specifications of the new Galaxy S24 lineup have surfaced on the internet.

From launching Samsung's first AI smartphones to the price and specifications of the Galaxy S24 series, here is everything we know so far.

Samsung Galaxy S24 series will be AI powered

Samsung is expected to make AI integration the highlight of the upcoming Galaxy S24 lineup, with plans to embed its generative AI system, Gauss, into the series. Similar to Google's recent inclusion of Gemini Nano in the Pixel 8 Pro, Samsung's move to bring in AI in the latest flagship series will significantly upgrade the Galaxy S24 series from its predecessors and bring in improved functionality in apps like camera. For instance, a camera will allow you to transform your phone into a high-quality webcam.

For context: Samsung unveiled its large language model, Gauss at the 2023 Samsung AI Forum. The generative AI model by Samsung includes three versions: Samsung Gauss Language, adept at text generation; Samsung Gauss Code, specialising in code generation and assistance; and Samsung Gauss Image, capable of image creation and editing. Similar to Google's ChatGPT and DALL-E, Gauss not only responds to text prompts but also creates and edits images. Notably, the dedicated code- Gauss Code variant acts is a coding assistant, supporting tasks like code description and test case generation.

Samsung Galaxy S24 series rumoured specification

Although Samsung has not officially revealed the specifications or in-the-box details for the new Galaxy series, online rumors and tips have emerged, providing insights into the potential features.

The upcoming Galaxy S24 lineup from Samsung is speculated to include three models: Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra. As for the specification, a notable leaker, Evan Blass recently revealed appears to be the complete spec sheet of the Galaxy S24 lineup in a tweet. According to Blass, the Galaxy S24 lineup could come equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in certain markets like the US, Canada, and China, while other markets might see Samsung's in-house Exynos 2400 chipset- may be in India powering the smartphones.

The Ultra models are also likely to include the S Pen, a 6.8-inch AMOLED 2x QHD+ display, and a 5,000mAh battery.
