details of Samsung smart ring.
According to a report by a South Korean publication, The Elec revealed that Samsung has confirmed that it will launch the Galaxy Ring in the second half of the year. This means that there are chances that Samsung may launch the Galaxy Smart Ring along with the next-generation Samsung Galaxy foldable smartphones.
Samsung Galaxy Ring features
Samsung claims to have condensed all its innovations into a wearable device designed for continuous use around the clock. Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy Ring in three colors: platinum silver, ceramic black, and gold. The ring features a concave design and a robust profile typical of smart rings, yet Samsung assures it feels lightweight.
Available in sizes 5 to 13, labeled S to XL inside the band, according to The Verge. The ring houses a compact battery ranging from 14.5mAh in the smallest size to 21.5mAh in the largest.
Samsung's Hon Pak detailed that the Galaxy Ring will track various health metrics through its integrated sensor array. This includes monitoring heart rate, respiratory rate, sleep movement, and sleep onset time. Furthermore, Pak confirmed that the ring will offer cycle and fertility tracking by integrating with the established Samsung partner app, Natural Cycles.
Pak has also revealed that the Samsung Galaxy Ring will offer 5 to 9 days of battery life in a single charge.
