Samsung Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55 design details leaked

Details about the pricing and availability of the Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55 models remain unclear. However, with regulatory filings underway and certifications received, Samsung is expected to announce the new phones soon to strengthen its smartphone lineup for 2024.

Samsung is expanding its mid-range Galaxy A lineup with the addition of the Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55 models this year. The upcoming phones will sit above the Galaxy A15 and Galaxy A25 in Samsung's portfolio and new details have emerged about both the handsets via new

of the phones.
Live photos of the Galaxy A55 recently emerged, revealing that the phones will feature Samsung's latest island design with a metallic frame. Photos from regulatory filings in China show the A55 with a slightly bulged frame around the power and volume buttons. Antenna lines along the side point to a metal construction.
The Key Island design was first introduced on the Galaxy A15 and A25 models launched late last year. Renders leaked last month also highlighted the new design on the upcoming A35 and A55. While the A55 appears to have a metal body, the A35 may opt for plastic to hit a lower price point.

Launch expected soon
With regulatory filings underway, Samsung is likely nearing an official launch for the Galaxy A35 and A55. The phones have already been certified by agencies in Korea and China.
In addition to the new A-series models, a device called the Galaxy C55 was certified by TENAA in China, featuring a similar rear camera housing but a slightly different design.
The Galaxy A35 and A55 will give Samsung new options to compete in the

mid-range smartphone market

. The company just launched its new high-end Galaxy S24 series in February.
Pricing and availability details remain unclear for the A35 and A55. But with regulatory hurdles clearing, Samsung likely won't wait too long to announce the new phones as they look to round out their smartphone portfolio for 2024.
