5 users can fix their phones themselves as the company has extended its

self-repair program

to cover two of its latest foldable phones. Samsung’s self-repair program will now include more Galaxy products, including tablets, in collaboration with iFixit.
The company is adding seven more devices to its self-repair program this month.

This includes PCs, smartphones, and tablets such as the Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy Tab S9 series, and the Galaxy Book2 Pro series.
The self-service program allows users to repair their devices using original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts and step-by-step guides. The kit prices will vary depending on the device and the repair required.
The program allows Galaxy users to access authentic parts that can be used to replace various components in their smartphones. This includes the screen, back glass, charging ports, speaker, SIM tray, and side key and volume key. For Galaxy Book series users, the program provides the ability to repair the front and rear case, display, battery, touchpad, power key with fingerprint reader, rubber feet, fan, and speakers.

Samsung

introduced the Self-Repair program in the US for its Galaxy devices last year. The company has continued to expand the program to South Korea, Brazil, Mexico, and select European countries earlier this year. The company is now expanding the program to 30 more European countries, such as Denmark, Greece, Hungary, and Portugal.
