Samsung confirms launch of three new Odyssey OLED gaming monitors at CES 2024 in Las Vegas next week. The monitors include the Odyssey OLED G9, G8, and G6. The G9 is a 49-inch curved ultra-wide gaming monitor with DQHD resolution, 32:9 aspect ratio, 240Hz refresh rate, and 0.03ms GTG response time. The G8 is a flat 32-inch OLED gaming monitor with 4K UHD resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, and the same refresh rate and response time. The G6 is a 27-inch monitor with QHD resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, 360Hz refresh rate, and 0.03ms GTG response time. All three monitors feature OLED Glare-Free technology, VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 technology, and support AMD FreeSync Premium Pro for low-latency HDR gaming. They also come with HDMI 2.1 ports, a USB hub, DisplayPort 1.4 input, VESA mount compatibility, and a height-adjustable stand.

Odyssey OLED monitors: Features
The Odyssey OLED G9 is a 49-inch curved ultra-wide gaming monitor with DQHD (5,120×1,440) resolution, a 32:9 aspect ratio and other upgraded features.

The Odyssey OLED G8 is the first flat 32-inch Samsung OLED gaming monitor with 4K UHD (3,840×2,160) resolution and a 16:9 aspect ratio. Both monitors have a 240Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms GTG response time.

The Odyssey OLED G6 is a 27-inch QHD (2,560×1,440) monitor which supports a 16:9 aspect ratio, 360Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms GTG response time.
All three gaming monitors feature OLED Glare-Free technology that helps reduce light reflections for consistent brightness and colour in various lighting conditions, making them ideal for gaming. They also come with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 technology. Samsung claims that these monitors offer detailed, vibrant colours regardless of the displayed content, and they support AMD FreeSync Premium Pro for smooth, low-latency HDR gaming.

The monitors include two HDMI 2.1 ports, a USB hub, and a DisplayPort 1.4 input. VESA3 mount compatibility and a height-adjustable stand with tilt, swivel, and pivot options.
Moreover, the Odyssey OLED G9 and Odyssey OLED G8 introduce Multi Control, facilitating seamless device connectivity between the monitor and other Samsung devices for efficient multitasking. They also feature the Samsung SmartThings Hub, enabling users to connect and control various IoT devices compatible with Matter and the Home Connectivity Alliance.
