Samsung
has launched a new accessory program for gaming gears that is compatible with the
Samsung Gaming Hub
. The program is called "
Designed for Samsung Gaming Hub
" and includes officially licensed products for the Samsung Gaming
Hub
.
Samsung's Gaming Hub is a cloud-based gaming platform that offers users the opportunity to play a variety of games directly on their Samsung TV without the need for a PC or game console.
The service offers a broad range of game streaming options, including
Xbox Game Pass
,
GeForce Now
,
Amazon
Luna, Boosteroid, Blacknut, Utomik, and Antstream Arcade. Although Google Stadia is no longer available, it was once part of the list. The platform also allows users to stream content from popular services such as Spotify, Twitch, and YouTube.
The first licensee for this program is Performance Designed Products (
PDP
), which is showcasing its Replay Wireless Controller this week at the CES 2024 in Las Vegas.
PDP’s “Replay Midnight Blue” Wireless Controller comes in a "Midnight Blue" colour and resembles an Xbox controller. It features a home button that can launch Samsung Gaming Hub, as well as volume and power buttons for the TV. The PDP Replay controller has a rechargeable battery that lasts up to 40 hours and a 30-foot Bluetooth connection range with minimal latency for cloud gaming.
The controller is already available for pre-order from PDP website, and will also be available later through Amazon and Best Buy.
