'. The latest update on this, as per reports is that the film is set to have its mahurat at

Mehboob Studio

in Mumbai on December 29, two days after Khan's birthday.
As per a report in Pinkvilla, Khan is playing a paramilitary officer for the first time in his career.

Director Vishnuvardhan wishes to commence the journey on the movie on an auspicious note with a Pooja and wishes to end the year with this mahurat, which will take place at Mehboob Studio in Bandra which is next to Salman's house. However, after this mahurat, the film is expected to go on floors in February 2024.
Incidentally, December 29 marks 34 years to Salman's iconic film 'Maine Pyaar Kiya'. Hence, the mahurat will happen on this date. Meanwhile, the pre-production will begin in the mid-January. Multiple big sets will be set up for this big actioner and Khan is expected to shoot for the movie straight from February to August.
The report also suggests that while Salman has announced the tentative tile of the movie as 'The Bull', the makers are also looking for better options for the title and the announcement will be made only when the title is locked.

Karan Johar

has indirectly confirmed this project as he wished Khan on his birthday on December 27. He had said, "He wrote a long note and by the end of it, he said, "Happy birthday Salman ! So much love and respect for you always …Also 25 years later we will finally have a story to tell again… not saying any more than that 😉 happy happy birthday ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️"

Meanwhile, Khan will reportedly also begin Sooraj Barjatya's next film in 2024.
