Saif Ali Khan
was set to make his acting debut in 'Bekhudi' but he was fired. In the recent episode of Koffee With Karan 8, Saif opened up about the impact his exit from the film had on his career.
Saif Ali Khan revealed that 'Bekhudi' helmed by
Rahul Rawail
fired him because Rahul found him
unprofessional
. The actor went on to say that Rahul was sadistic about the turn of events and even said that Saif’s career was over.
Saif explained that Rahul Rawail had signed Kamal Sadanah first and then replaced him with him, thinking perhaps this kind of casting was a little.
And then he did chuck him out of the movie because he found his attitude.
The 'Vikram Vedha' actor also revealed how Yash Chopra came to his rescue. Saif recalled how once he got a call from Yash Chopra, where he asked Saif, ‘I’ve heard you are very naughty. Are you? You better give me your word.' He asked, ‘You promise to be good?’ To which Saif promised, "Of course, I promise I will be.’ ‘Okay, you’re in the movie," Chopra concluded.
For the Universe, 'Parampara' was released in 1993, was directed by Yash Chopra, and starred a stellar cast. Apart from Saif, the film starred Sunil Dutt, Vinod Khanna, Aamir Khan, Neelam Kothari, Raveena Tandon, Ashwini Bhave, Ramya Krishna, and Anupam Kher.
