NEW DELHI: Legendary Indian batter

Sachin Tendulkar

had a great reunion with his long-standing companions

Rahul Dravid

and

Yuvraj Singh

in New York on Sunday, prior to the highly anticipated

India vs Pakistan

T20 World Cup match.
The presence of Sachin elated the Indian supporters, as he acknowledged them with a warm wave. Suryakumar Yadav greeted the legend with a handshake, while young talent

Yashasvi Jaiswal

showed his respect by touching Tendulkar's feet.
Talking about the match, Play resumed after a 36-minute as rain caused multiple interruptions with just one over having been bowled.

Following an earlier rain delay that pushed back the toss and start time by half an hour, Pakistan captain Babar Azam won the toss and chose to bowl at Nassau International Cricket Stadium.
India, the pre-tournament favourites, won their opening game against Ireland while Pakistan are still reeling from a shock defeat at the hands of co-hosts USA.
Pakistan welcomed back all-rounder Imad Wasim, who missed their opening game with a rib injury. Azam Khan misses out in the only change for Pakistan.
India are unchanged as they look to take firm control of Group A which also features Canada.
The surface at the New York venue has produced low-scoring games and has been criticised for producing uneven bounce with organisers conceding it had been inconsistent.
