The notification for the RRB NTPC Exam 2025 was released on September 13, 2024, with the registration window remaining open until October 27, 2024. A correction window was subsequently provided from October 23 to November 6, 2024. Now that the registration process is complete, candidates are eagerly awaiting the announcement of the exam schedule, which is expected to be made soon.
RRB NTPC Exam Dates 2025: Check detailed exam pattern for CBT mode tests
The selection process for the RRB NTPC Exam 2025 involves multiple stages, including the 1st Stage Computer-Based Test (CBT), 2nd Stage CBT, Typing Skill Test/Computer-Based Aptitude Test (applicable for select posts), and Document Verification/Medical Examination. Selection is strictly merit-based, determined by performance across these stages.
The examination will be conducted in multiple languages, including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
RRB NTPC Recruitment 2025: CBT 1 Exam Pattern
The first stage of the CBT assesses candidates across three sections:

- Mathematics: 30 questions, 30 marks.
- General Intelligence and Reasoning: 30 questions, 30 marks.
The total duration for this stage is 90 minutes, with 100 questions carrying a total of 100 marks.
RRB NTPC Recruitment 2025: CBT 2 Exam Pattern
The second stage CBT includes the following sections:
- General Awareness: 50 questions, 50 marks.
- Mathematics: 35 questions, 35 marks.
- General Intelligence and Reasoning: 35 questions, 35 marks.
This stage comprises 120 questions with a maximum score of 120 marks and a duration of 90 minutes.
Candidates should note that a negative marking of 1/3 mark will be applied for each incorrect response in both CBT 1 and CBT 2 exams.
