NEW DELHI: The Indian cricket team is currently enjoying a month-long break and will resume their cricketing duties in September when they face Bangladesh in a two-match Test series.
The series opener is slated to take place at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on September 19, while the second Test will be held at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur from September 27.

Following the Bangladesh series, India will host New Zealand for a three-match Test series before embarking on a challenging tour of Australia in November, where they will compete in a five-match Test series.
In preparation for the upcoming Test season, Indian captain

Rohit Sharma

has already begun his training. Several videos have surfaced on social media platforms, showing Rohit engaged in intense training sessions with India's assistant coach

Abhishek Nayar

.

In these viral clips, Rohit can be seen performing rigorous cardio exercises in a park under Nayar's guidance.


Nayar, who joined the Indian support staff as an assistant coach last month following

Gautam Gambhir

's appointment as the head coach, has been working closely with the Indian skipper.
Rohit's last appearance in a Test match for India was in March 2024 against England, where he scored a century in the first innings.
