Before the highly anticipated game, Rohit momentarily forgot the location of the coin during the toss. As the match referee and

pondered the whereabouts of the coin, Rohit reached into his pocket and retrieved it.
The situation amused everyone present, including Pakistan captain
Babar Azam
. The clip of the toss that has surfaced on social media and went viral in no time.
Babar won the toss and opted to bowl against India in their T20 World Cup Group A match at Nassau International Cricket Stadium. Light rain delayed the toss by half an hour.
India, the pre-tournament favourites, won their opening game against Ireland while Pakistan are still reeling from a shock defeat at the hands of co-hosts USA.
Pakistan welcomed back all-rounder Imad Wasim, who missed their opening game with a rib injury. Azam Khan misses out in the only change for Pakistan.
India remained unchanged as they aim to take firm control of Group A, which also includes Canada and Ireland.
The pitch at the New York venue has produced low-scoring games and faced criticism for its uneven bounce, with organizers admitting its inconsistency.
