Robbers strike motorcyclist with a hammer on NYC street: NYPD

THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) -- Two individuals attacked a man with a hammer and took his motorcycle in the Bronx, police said Tuesday.

The assault occurred in front of 530 East 138 St. at around 4:55 a.m. on March 28, according to the NYPD.

The two suspects fled eastbound on 138th Street toward St. Ann's Avenue, according to authorities. The 30-year-old victim was taken to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln in stable condition.

Authorities released descriptions of the two suspects to the public.

Police described the first suspect as a 45- to 55-year-old woman with long braids. She was last seen wearing black jeans, black boots, and a white jacket, with a bright yellow umbrella.

Police said the second suspect was a man around the same age who was last seen wearing a black and gray jacket, blue jeans, and white sneakers.
