Rlys run speed trial on track two at Majorda

speed trial

run was conducted on the newly laid second track of the 4 km Majorda-Cansaulim segment of the

South Western Railway

(SWR) by the commissioner of

railway safety

(CRS) on Monday.
This section is part of the Hospet-Hubli-Tinaigat-Vasco double-tracking project. The train clocked 108kmph during the trial run, a senior railway official said.
Following the successful trial run, the section was opened for passengers, official Railway sources said. Amravati Express was the first train to pass along the section on Monday.
The trial was conducted by AM chowdhary, CRS Southern circle, in the presence of GM, RVNL S B Sahoo and other senior officials.tnn
