Rider punched MTA bus driver in the Bronx: NYPD

HIGHBRIDGE, the Bronx (PIX11) -- An irate rider punched an MTA bus driver in the face on a Bronx bus Monday night, police said.

The man attacked the 61-year-old driver on the bus near Undercliff and Sedgwick avenues in Highbridge at around 10:30 p.m., according to the NYPD. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The rider ran off after the incident and remained at large, as of Tuesday, police said.
