Electric vehicle manufacturer

Revolt Motors

aims to take a bite out of the

electric motorcycle

market in India yet again with the launch of the new RV400 BRZ, priced at

Rs 1.38 lakh

, ex-showroom. The bookings for this

EV

have commenced at the company’s official website and its dealership network.
While the RV400 BRZ is identical to its older sibling, the RV400, in terms of design and most of the specifications, it boasts a 72V, 3.24 kWh

lithium-ion battery

that delivers an impressive range of up to 150km in Eco mode. Normal mode dials this down to a respectable 100km, while Sport mode gets a claimed range of 80 km. In the sports mode, the top-speed of the motorcycle is governed at 80 kmph.
The company says that the battery can be charged from 0 to 75 percent in a quick 3 hours, while it takes 4.5 hours to fully juice up the battery. The motorcycle also features a regenerative braking system, which helps increase the range by capturing energy during deceleration.

Talking about the features, it comes equipped with USD front forks, a mono-shock rear suspension, all-LED lighting, and a digital instrument cluster that shows information such as speed, battery level, riding mode, and temperature. Apart from these, the riders can also choose how their motorcycle will sound - thanks to the four sound options the company is providing. These sounds can be chosen from the company’s MyRevolt application and one can also choose to have no sound at all - a classical EV trait.

The RV400 BRZ is offered in five striking color choices – Pacific Blue, Cosmic Black, Dark Silver, Rebel Red, and Lunar Green – ensuring it grabs attention and stands out on the streets.
