, released a four-minute video on Tuesday, extending apologies for his behavior over the past few years. Clark, who was released from his WWE contract in May 2021, has been embroiled in controversy and faced allegations of inappropriate behavior and arrests.
The apology video, posted on Tuesday, saw Clark expressing remorse to various entities, including WWE, the wrestling community, and his family.
Notably, he directed apologies to specific individuals, such as Paul "

Shawn Michaels

Tehuti Miles
(also known as WWE wrestler Ashante "Thee" Adonis), and his own family.
While Clark acknowledged the negative narratives surrounding him and the criticisms on the internet, he refrained from addressing any specific incidents or behaviors that led to his apology. Instead, he focused on taking responsibility for his actions over the last three years.
Clark stated in the video, "As you've probably seen or have heard over the course of the last few years, I want to apologize for my behavior. Both professionally and personally, I always preach to those closest to me about the power of accountability and responsibility. And I take full accountability for my behavior over the last three years of my life.
"When narratives were written about me -- it doesn't matter. It didn't matter what was written about me. It doesn't matter what was said about me. It doesn't matter what's on the internet about me. I was wrong. And because of that, I need to apologize to a few people."
One of the primary recipients of Clark's apology was WWE, the organization he represented during his time as Velveteen Dream. He expressed regret for any unwanted attention or negative press that his actions may have brought upon the company.
Clark also addressed his fans, apologizing for becoming, in his words, "an example of what happens when talent and opportunity meet immaturity." The wrestler, known for his flamboyant and charismatic persona in the ring, conveyed remorse for any disappointment he may have caused among his dedicated fanbase.
