NEW DELHI:
Ravindra Jadeja
showcased not only his prowess on the field but also his playful side, leaving thousands of CSK fans amused with a well-executed prank during the IPL encounter between Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders at Chepauk on Monday.
As Jadeja mesmerized KKR batsmen with a match-winning performance, later in the game, he couldn't resist indulging in a prank that added an extra dose of entertainment to the match.
CSK fans have a unique tradition of cheering when the home team's middle-order batsmen get out, anticipating the arrival of their beloved former captain, MS Dhoni, to the crease. This tradition was evident once again when
Shivam Dube
was dismissed, and the crowd erupted with excitement.
Sensing the anticipation among the fans, Jadeja seized the moment to play a prank. Fully padded up, he pretended to walk out to bat, much to the amusement of the cheering crowd. However, with a mischievous smile, he abruptly turned around and headed back to the dugout, leaving the fans laughing and cheering even more.
