The 76th Republic Day parade was a vibrant display of India's rich cultural tapestry. Uttar Pradesh's tableau, highlighting the ongoing Mahakumbh, captivated audiences and judges alike, earning the top accolade. Tripura's 'Eternal Reverence' theme secured the second position, while Andhra Pradesh's focus on eco-friendly wooden toys garnered third place.
MARCHING CONTINGENTS DISPLAY
Demonstrating exceptional discipline and coordination, the Jammu and Kashmir Rifles contingent was adjudged the best amongst the armed forces. In the category of Central Armed Police Forces and auxiliary forces, the Delhi Police marching contingent received top honours.
CENTRAL MINISTRIES AND DEPARTMENTS
Amongst central ministries, the Ministry of Tribal Affairs stood out with its tableau, earning the first prize for its compelling presentation.
PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT THROUGH ONLINE POLLS
In an effort to involve citizens in the celebrations, an online poll was conducted to determine the most popular tableau. Gujarat's entry emerged as the favourite amongst participants, reflecting public appreciation for its creative portrayal.
