Realme 12 Pro+3x periscope zoom camera: What to expect
The periscope zoom camera in question utilizes a robust 64MP OmniVision OV64B sensor, notable for its substantial 1/2-inch size. Realme emphasizes that, when compared to the 3x zoom cameras in the iPhone 15 Pro (12MP) and the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra (10MP), the sensor in the Realme 12 Pro+ is notably larger, exceeding the size by more than 2.6 times. This results in a significant advantage, allowing the Realme 12 Pro+ to intake over 1.8 times more light.

In simpler terms, telephoto cameras are often not a top priority for mainstream flagship phones. The comparison images presented during the launch event were impressive, showcasing Realme's capability to maintain a remarkable level of detail even with substantial cropping. However, a comprehensive assessment will be reserved for our hands-on experience in the future.
Realme 12 Pro series expected price
Multiple online leaks suggest that the price of Realme 12 Pro+ may start at Rs 34,999. On the other hand, the base variant of Realme 12 Pro is expected to come with a starting price tag of Rs 25,000.

Realme 12 Pro series design
The Realme 12 Pro series is said to sport a curved display surrounded by thin bezels on all sides. The smartphones will sport a circular camera module placed in the center of the rear panel. The camera module will house the triple camera setup accompanied by LED flash. The phone will boast a leather finish on its back, complemented by a metallic strap running through the middle.
