is all set to begin the new year with the launch of the latest

series smartphones. The company has confirmed the launch of the all new
Redmi Note 13
5G series of smartphones. The smartphone maker has started sending out media invites for the launch of the smartphone.
Xiaomi has confirmed that the Redmi Note 13 5G series will launch January 4, 2024.
“Remember when we asked you to mark your calendars? Well, here's an exclusive sneak peek into the highly anticipated SuperPower SuperNote Redmi Note 13 5G series, set to launch on January 4, 2024,” reads the invite.
Xiaomi has already launched the
Redmi Note 13 series
in China in September this year. The smartphone maker is expected to launch the same variant as well. The Redmi Note 13 series consists of three smartphones — Redmi Note 13,
Redmi Note 13 Pro
and Redmi Note 13 Pro+. The company is expected to launch all three smartphones in the country.
Redmi Note 13 series: Key specs
All three smartphones feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. However, the Pro variants are the exclusive ones supporting a 1.5K resolution. The Redmi Note 13 is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6080 chipset, while the Pro model runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 mobile platform. On the other hand, the high-end Pro+ model boasts a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra SoC.
In the realm of photography, the standard model incorporates a dual rear camera setup, while the Pro model steps it up with a triple rear camera arrangement. The Redmi Note 13 features a 100MP primary sensor, 2MP macro lens, and a 16MP selfie camera. In contrast, the Pro and Pro+ variants house a formidable 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP3 primary rear sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro unit, and a 16MP front sensor for selfies.
When it comes to battery capacity, both the standard and high-end Pro+ variants pack a 5,000mAh battery, while the Pro model boasts a slightly larger 5,100mAh battery. Fast charging capabilities vary, with the Redmi Note 13, Note 13 Pro, and Note 13 Pro+ supporting 33W, 67W, and 120W fast charging, respectively. All three models are set to run on the MIUI 14 operating system based on Android 13.
