NEW DELHI: Ravindra Jadeja dismissed England skipper Ben Stokes to become the fifth Indian bowler to take 200 Test wickets in India.

Jadeja got to the milestone in the fourth over after lunch on the third day of the third Test in Rajkot on Saturday when he had Stokes caught by Jasprit Bumrah at long-on.

Anil Kumble (350), Ravichandran Ashwin (347), Harbhajan Singh (265), and Kapil Dev (219) are the Indian bowlers to get to the mark before Jadeja.

Later, Jadeja also dismissed Tom Hartley to add to his tally as England were bowled out for 319 runs in their first innings to concede a 126-run lead.

Playing at his home ground, Jadeja had scored 112 in India's first innings total of 445, becoming the third Indian all-rounder and the 17th overall to complete the double of 3000 runs and 200 wickets in Tests on Thursday, the first day of the Test.

Jadeja's 112 was his fourth hundred in Tests and his second against England.

The five-Test series is currently level at 1-1.
