Rajinikanth
has been invited to attend
PM Narendra Modi
's
oath-taking ceremony
, and he left for Delhi today (June 9) morning ahead of the swearing-in event. While addressing the Press and Media ahead of his Delhi journey, Rajinikanth has shared his opinion on
Narendra Modi
becoming the
Prime Minister of India
for the third continuous time. "After
Jawaharlal Nehru
, Modi becoming Prime Minister for the third time's a great achievement.
My compliments to him. At the same time, people have elected a strong
opposition party
. This is a healthy sign of good democracy", said Rajinikanth while speaking to the Press and Media.
Rajinikanth hailing the ruling party and opposition equally shows the actor's balance in politics. Even though Rajinikanth has decided not to enter politics, we cannot stop the actor from attending political events as he is one of the respectable forces in India. Rajinikanth is reportedly the only actor from the South, who has been invited to PM Narendra Modi's oath-taking ceremony, and the event will take place at Rashtrapati Bhawan today (June 9) around 7:15 PM.
Rajinikanth is next part of the films 'Vettaiyan' and 'Coolie', while the first film has reached the final stage of production.
Lokesh Kanagaraj
's directorial 'Coolie' shooting will commence within a week, and the preparations for the film are on.
