Congress demands action against BJP MP over Lok Sabha security breach; Rajasthan to get new Chief Minister
In this episode of First Up, we will look into the politics brewing around the breach of security in Parliament. Congress has increased its attack on the BJP and has demanded action against BJP's Mysore MP Pratap Simha for facilitating the entry of at least one person who jumped into the Lok Sabha chamber and opened smoke canisters, drawing a parallel with party leader Mahua Moitra's ouster from the House. In other news, the swearing-in ceremony of Rajasthan Chief Minister-designate Bhajan Lal Sharma will take place in Jaipur on Friday. Along with Sharma, Diya Kumari and Prem Chand Bairwa, who were named as deputy chief ministers in the recently held BJP legislature party meeting, will take oath. The three will be administered the oath of office by Governor Kalraj Mishra.
