Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Dunki' released in cinemas on Thursday, December 21 and had a good opening despite the fact that it was a non-holiday release. The film directed by

Rajkumar Hirani

is filled with comedy, emotions and a message just like all his movies do. While the audience has given a good response to the movie, SRK's 'Ra.One' director

Anubhav Sinha

has also penned a note after seeing the movie.

The director expressed that 30 people from his office went to watch the film. He appreciated Raju Hirani saying that it's very important for a film-maker to be simple which Raju is. (Thirty people from the office went to watch DUNKI today. It was fun. I envy Raju's spontaneity. Being spontaneous is the most difficult task for a director. Pannu Sahab has done an amazing job. In fact, all the actors are amazing. All those actors Those with whom I talk about a scene should go and watch the scene of the actor who does Shah Rukh's immigration interview. Amazing. Sorry I don't know the name yet. I will find out. Vicky has done a great job. The film makes you laugh, cry and comes home together.)"
Sinha has worked with

Taapsee Pannu

in 'Thappad' which got a lot of appreciation. The director dropped pictures from the theatre along with this review.
He penned a note for SRK and lauded him saying, “शाह रुख़ के बारे में क्या कहूँ। “ (What can I say about Shahrukh? I am lucky to have worked with him for 5 years. Now I don't know whether I like that person or that actor more. That person is such a big star that go to any country and people of India know him by his name. But still one should learn from him to give his all in every scene. Be it a small scene or a big one, be it your scene or someone else's, he gives it all. Wow. Everyone should learn from him how he manages to make a mark even in someone else's scene)”.

Sinha further urged people to see the movie despite the fact that it's different and not filled with a lot of swag and 'masala'. He said, "जा के देखें।
“(Go and see. This is not a swag film. In those films the star performs stunts while standing away from you. This is a film in which the characters come and sit close to you and can touch you. Long live Raju. Recently I had a similar conversation with an Afghan taxi driver in London. He had gone to London after dunking 25 years ago. Now he has a London passport. I asked whether he feels like going back? And pat came his reply, 'absolutely'. Our country is our own)."

Anubhav had earlier said that he deeply regrets letting SRK down as 'Ra.One' didn't live up to expectations.
