' was set for an August 15 release, but production setbacks have put doubts on its release.

Dulquer Salmaan

's 'Lucky Baskhar'. Originally slated for a September 27 release, the film's makers are rethinking their plans due to competition from Jr NTR and Koratala Siva’s 'Devara', which is now announced to hit the screens on September 27 getting preponed from the October 10 release date.
Directed by Venky Atluri, 'Lucky Baskhar' was shot in Telugu but will be released in multiple languages. With only five days of shooting left as per a 123Telugu report, the production team is confident they can meet the new August 15 deadline if everything goes smoothly. The film stars Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female lead.

'Pushpa 2: The Rule' has encountered hurdles in its shooting schedule, with about four to five months of post-production and CG work still pending as per a Gulte report. As a result, the film's release might not occur for several months. This delay has provided an unexpected opportunity for other filmmakers to capitalize on the Independence Day release window.

'Pushpa 2: The Rule' makers have been determined to release the film on the scheduled date though these rumours suggest a possible delay. Fans wait for official announcements by the makers and this decision likely will give more clarity to the other filmmakers who are eyeing for an August 15 release date.
